Naveen Kapoor belongs to Mandi town of Himachal.Pradesh. He has over 40 years of Corporate experience in the Indian Industry.
He was President Agribusiness and Principal Advisor Agribusiness of Adventz Group, a leading plant nutrient conglomerate constituting three large
fertiliser units ,Zuari Agro Chemicals Ltd, Paradeep Phosphates Ltd. and Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilisers Ltd. Besides extensive experience in General Management and Business Development at Leadership positions, he had been engaged with various stakeholders in Agri related fields in formulating sustainable farm economic yields and market linkage models at the farmgate level.
He is past Chairman of CII , Goa state and was a Board Member of Fertilisers Association of India.
He is currently a member of the CII National Council on Agriculture and a Correspondent member of International Fertiliser Association, Paris.
He is also on the Board of a couple of companies of Zuari Group,
