Rise Up Foundation a subsidy of Rotary club of Mandi has gifted Leaf Plates Projects on 29/10/2023 to Sakar society of Different abled person which run special children school of Heavy Duty Hydraulic Double Die Leaf Plates Machine Power Pack with 2 HP Motor Single Phase, without Oil Liver Operated, with 12’ Buffet Die, 4’ Bowl Die, 8” Tiffin Die vide Invoice No:174 Dated:26/09/2023 for Rs.1,12,100/-. This project will certainly improve the economics of Sakar society and working on making Leaf Plates will improve the mental health of special children/disabled children making them skilled and busy also. Since Paper and thermocol plates and Bowl used for eating are hazardous (canceracious) to health and threat to environment (not Biodegradable) but Leaf Plates and Bowl from Tore (Bauhina Vahlii) are Biodegradable and leaf used is anti-cancer, anti-diabetics, antimicrobial and anti-oxidant as research made by Department of Pharmacy, Bansthali University, Rajasthan (www.irjponline.com).
