Did graduation in electrical engineering in the year 1982.Then joined power department of Himachal Pradesh and got retired in 2019 as Chief Engineer. In service time worked for the electrification of the interior of the Himachal to provide NEET and clean energy to the people of the state. During service time was associated with green energy transmission projects development being done with the guidance of Asian Development bank. Was also associated with the different social organization to work for conservation of environment of the Himachal by planting trees etc. After retirement is associated with the Rotary Club Mandi .
