Er Kushal Chand Thakur passed his B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering from K.R.E.C. and retired as Chief Engineer from H.P.S.E.B.L (HP Govt Undertaking) after serving for 33 years. During his service he was involved in civil works of 33kv stations, 132 kv sub-stations, 220 kv sub-stations. He has also executed Larji (HEP) 126 KW. Renovation work for Thenot HEP (4.50 MW) and Sainj HEP (100MW). He has written papers on survey and investigation works and lining of HRT of 100 MW, Sainj HEP by long distance pumping an innovative challenge published in CBIP Manual in the year 2016. He registered as life individual member of ICA, Fellow member of Institute of Engineers (India), Fellow member of Institute of Valuers, Panel of Arbitrator with IEI. He is also installing solar power project of 500 kw at village Kipper, in Dist Mandi. He joined Rotary club Mandi in 2015 and has also served as President of RC Club Mandi during the year 2020-2021.
